Scallop & Risotto

Work today was a tad longer than most days and I was a bit pooped but it was my day to cook and we bought amazing scallops at the market yesterday!  I don't usually post food we make during the week since it's nothing too special but this dish turned out really good and I was so giddy thinking about making it all day!


 Round, plumpy, and sweet

Risotto cooking in chicken stock with dried porcini mushrooms...ok and a tad of butter..

 mmmhmmmmm

 garlic, butter, white wine mushrooms

 Not your normal dainty portions for sure...these successfully knocked me into food coma..
